Writer's Block: Set the Scene
I don't tend to get frightened by "outside" my own house. Just catching the reflection of my face in the dark before I can switch on the light, is spooky to me. Something about the formless, shadow-me creeps me out. Current Mood: thankfulCurrent Music: 60's retro |

Working with flowers I spent my extra time days taking pics of flowers for a new Zazzle Gallery. Imagine my surprise when those pics all have bugs and broken leaves and branches in them. I just didn't see those when I took the shots. I still have some lovely ones that look perfect but I'm thinking I'll create a product line for the icky stuff too. I mean, with the pendulum swinging toward organic everything, and here I raise my flowers organic. :P Why not?? :D Check out my shop and watch my progress. ;) nhfearme in the Flower Cottage http://www.zazzle.com/flowercottage* Current Mood: mellow |

Writer's Block: There Can Be Only One
I most definately believe in monogamy. I lost my first and second husbands because they couldn't keep their pants on. It makes me so angry at the time and energy I lost to unworthy guys. No matter how great a cook you are, no matter how pretty or how great a personality, even if your friends and relatives believe you are the perfect couple, he can just walk out on you! The only way you can build a life is either with someone or *alone!* Paired with the wrong dude can chew you up and spit you out. I've experienced it twice and had to start my life all over again twice because of it! Please guys and gals, if you want to play, stay out of the marriage pool! Writer's Block: Spirits
When my son died. He tugged on my clothes and spoke to me 3 different times. Then I saw him in a dream. Other times I've seen people but I was told no one was there. Other times I know it is a ghost because I know the person had died. Like my mother in law. She came in the front door, hung up her scarf, purse and coat and went into the kitchen, doing the dishes! A favored aunt told us she did the same to her! lol Another time I was on the Queen Mary tour and thought my husband was behind me on the escalator. He kept asking me a question but I couldn't hear him well enough to answer. When I got to the top I said, "What did you say?", turned around and Hubby was still at the bottom!

Writer's Block: Remembering Summer
I remember my brother and I used to have 'races' to see who could get the most tan in San Bernardino, California in 1968. We could only tan after school and on weekends but we got dark enough to make people think we were black. I can't remember who won but I do remember holding my arm up next to his and his looked twice as dark as mine. Maybe you could say he cheated because he used the arm he slung out of the car window when he drove. |

Writer's Block: Romance!
Once upon a time I was the most beautiful girl in the world so all I had to do to be romantic was to brush my hair, do my nails, shave my legs and wear something sexy. I did all that for my first husband, plus I cooked, cleaned and had two kids for him. For my trouble he ran around with a different woman every other week. I had to quit him, of course. I'm not a romantic person anymore but if I were, I would fill the house with flowers and music and maybe clean a few rooms for Hubby. Yeah, I have a good guy now. ;)

First Entry
My thoughts: I read about getting Patent's once where it said that any inventions written in a journal became public domain after only 2 years so... you won't be seeing any great idears or innovations stated here! (Did you hear that nh?? No ideas!) LOL So, my thoughts. If you strip away the great ideas, what is left. ... ponders. I'm even a little nervous about putting down stories anymore. I've seen my story ideas raped and pillaged too. :o Still, there has to be a flow of creativity based on the feeling of freedom which, surprisingly, I still have. :) Since I hadn't really made my hard choices for 2005 yet I'll harden my resolution now. For 2005 any great story ideas get immediately printed up, even if it has to be just the first pages of the first chapter, and sent to the the publisher of my choice. :) btw. I'm really too tired to write just now but now having opened this journal I had the need to write something in it. Ahhhhh, the challenge of the blank page begging to be filled! .. well, not filled at this time.
